A stunning property 10 minutes from the historic town of Ronda surrounded by undulating cork forests in Ronda’s wine growing area. It is a working vineyard, set in 28 hectares of land, with 800 square meter house and 200 square meter terrace at the back. The views from the property are out to the ancient Roman town of Acinipo and its famous arch. It is a place steeped in history, peaceful and private. The owner and designer of the property has a past as an antiquarian and has used noble materials such as marble, stone and wood to build this oasis of calm and elegance.
The house is all on one level, disposed around a central courtyard and surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. The stunning views are to the back of the property and lead down the valley towards the old roman ruins of Acinipo. It is finished to the highest standard and with gorgeous details, such as the old marble sinks in the bathrooms and old roman gravestones set into the dry stone walls that surround the property.
The property is accessed through big antique doors that lead onto the central courtyard with a stone fountain. The elegant entrance hall is flanked by two ancient old lions and this leads in turn to the main part of the house.
